Worship Day 1

Writer: Seth TinbergSeth Tinberg

The Foundation of Worship

Devotional: Have you ever noticed how a sunrise seems to paint the sky in worship? Or how birds greet each morning with their songs? This isn't coincidence - it's by divine design. Creation itself teaches us about worship. Just as stars shine and flowers bloom according to their created purpose, we too were designed with worship woven into our very being. This isn't about merely singing songs or attending church services; it's about recognizing and responding to who God is. When we truly grasp this, worship becomes as natural as breathing. It flows from a heart that recognizes its Creator and responds in love and adoration. Today, take a moment to observe creation around you and let it remind you of your fundamental purpose - to bring glory to God.

Key Bible Verse: "For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen." - Romans 11:36

Reflection Question: How does understanding that worship is part of your created design change the way you view your daily activities and choices?

Quote: Worship is not only something that we're commanded to do in Scripture, but it's written into our DNA. It's written into the DNA of all creation.

Prayer: Father, open my eyes to see You in all of creation. Help me embrace my purpose as a worshipper, not just in designated moments, but in every breath I take. Guide me to live today as an expression of worship to You. Amen.
