Verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Devotion: There is a constant battle that takes place inside the mind of every believer. It’s a battle of wills, our will vs. God’s will. To stay on the narrow road, we have to fight to let God’s will win the battle. We “fight” by constantly submitting what we want, in favor of what God wants. Our hearts are prone to wander, but God’s ways will keep us on the straight and narrow.
Prayer: Lord, we put our trust in you. We fully submit to your ways. Keep us on the road that leads to You. Amen.
